Last Day In Paradise

I awoke this morning to the sun shining across the beach.
It is our last day on this island & I am going to soak up as much of that sun as I possibly can before making the trek to the great white north tomorrow.  I just checked the local news online & the "live eye" cameras.  I closed them quickly.
We spent yesterday on the beach, as we will today.  Dream Boy & I took a walk
& these are some of the houses just down the beach from us.
....this is my new home.  They are in process of building my home.  HA!
Now this one blows my mind.  Look over to the left------see that tubular thingy?  Yes, that is a water slide going down into the infinity pool just below.
That grayish square in there?  That's the infinity pool's edge.
On our walk back I got caught in an ocean drift.  They are much like a snow drift at home where you can get stuck.  They advise you to proceed with caution, stating you may be stuck for a very long time.
I'm glad to say I survived - but I may get sucked into those drifts again today.
Last night we went to the north end of the island for pictures.
It was a beautiful night.
I think I've said this before, but this is one of my absolute favorite places on earth.
This has been a week of relaxing, refreshment and renewing.  While I really don't want to go back, I must.  But I can go back with a brown nose and I happy face and lots of wonderful memories.
Toodles everyone - I'm off to sit in the white sands for the last time.

Patti,
I received my postcard today from Florida! It totally made my day, especially after a long hectic day at work. Totally feeling the warm hugs, big smiles, and sunshine in my heart. Thank you!
