Good morning! I'm a little slow on the draw today -- why is it getting up at 6 or 7am when on the beach is no problem? But getting up to the alarm clock at 6am just isn't that easy??
Yep - I'm back in Michigan. Yep, we came home to snow.
BUT yesterday was a sunny, sunny day & we loved it!
1. We got home Saturday night/Sunday morning around 12:30ish.
2. We drove for 20 straight hours - only taking 1/2 hour for lunch & brief stops for gas.
3. We like it that way - then we have the whole day on Sunday to recoup & regroup.
4. Back to school today. That's why I'm a little behind in coffee this morning - too much piled up on my desk!
5. I loved last week, in case you hadn't figured that out from all my posts & pics last week! :)
6. I'll share more pics with you tomorrow of our ocean play on Friday.
7. Dream Boy & I had SO much fun playing in the waves.
8. I have a BIG secret - but it has to stay that way (a secret) until further notice.
9. I read 3 books while on the beach last week.
10. Dream Boy read 1 - he is so proud of himself! He's not much of a reader & it takes him awhile to get through a book when he finds one he enjoys reading.
11. We bought him a Kindle Fire yesterday. Our friends' had one in Florida & he really liked it, so we bought one for us yesterday.
12. School is crazy today - but only 53 more days & I'll be back in Florida with 41 high school seniors for 4 non-stop days of on the go fun!
13. I just looked at my weekly calendar/planner. It's blank. I mean nothing on the pages blank! Hmmm.....what to do - what to do with all that freedom?
14. I need to get back to work - I need a little more coffee - I need to focus!
