One More Beach Story

I have one more story to share of my vacation last week.
Dream Boy & I were having so much fun on Friday that I didn't have time to post.  Then we left at 4am on Saturday & drove 20 hours to get home, so I didn't have access on Saturday & Sunday was Scavenger Hunt.
So I hope I'm not boring you, but I really have to share this.
It was our last day & the weather was the most perfect beach weather of the whole week.  It was the one day that we woke up to pure sunshine!  So we took full advantage of it.
The surf was huge, the waves were curling over & there was a kite boarder out kicking it up just down the beach.
We sat in beach chairs & just talked.  Then we went for a long walk on the beach as it was our last one.  When Dream Boy & I got back to the condo I ran up to our room and grabbed the $6.00 inner tube he had bought me earlier in the week.  We headed out into the huge waves and played for over an hour.
It.was.so.much.fun!
I have not screamed like that since I was a little girl.  Dream Boy even made the comment that I sounded like a 12 year old girl!
Dream Boy would push me out into a wave & I would ride it in, sometimes right over his head.
We were the only one's in the water too.  At one point we looked up on the beach to see a few people watching us.  I mean, reeeeeeeeeeally watching us.  Apparently they heard my screams & thought I was in trouble.  Then when they realized we were just having fun, they stood & watched us play.  Our friend Mark, who had run up to our room & grabbed my camera after he heard my screams & then realized what was going on, told us this is what people thought.  He & Pat had thought it too.
Mark stood there & captured some great shots....
 Oh.My!
It was the best time & we just laughed so hard & had so much fun playing in the surf together!  One of my favorite moments of the week.

As I mentioned during coffee yesterday, I read 3 books over the course of the week.
1.  Fly Away Home by Jennifer Weiner -- this was an okay book.  A few racy spots in it, a true beach reader.
2.  Heaven Is Real by Todd Burpo -- this is the account of a 4 year old boys' trip to heaven during an emergency surgery he had.  It was told by his dad, but the story is that of little Colton.  I enjoyed this story, a great read for any age.
3.  The Saving of CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman.  A novel.  The story of a young girl who loses her mom at the age of 12 & goes to live in the south with her great aunt.  It was a cute story, one that I read in 2 days & thoroughly enjoyed.

What I'm reading now:
This is on my MacBook Kindle:  A Heart of Stone by Jill Marie Landis.  I just started it yesterday, it's a Christian Romance Novel set in the 1800's.  It was a free download from Kindle.  A simple story & easy read, just what I need to unwind after a crazy day at school.

What are you reading??  I'd love to hear your recommendations.
