Scavenger Hunt Sunday

It's Scavenger Hunt Sunday again.
I struggled with this week's prompts - mainly because I had a tooth pulled on Monday & by Friday I had developed a dry socket.  So I had it cleaned out Friday night & again Saturday morning & let's just say, it still hurts.
I know this week's work is not my best, but forgive me, it's all I got.
Thanks for stopping by everyone, I hope you have blessed Sunday!

Basket
My knitting/crocheting basket.
Stocked up on plenty of yarn and working on a few different patterns currently.

Park
An empty playground in downtown Kalamazoo.
Too cold for the kiddies to play around, but come summer - this place is a 'hoppin!

Auto
I am very fortunate to have not one, but 2 mechanics in my family.
Dream Boy is my #1 go to mechanic, but Son #2 is a close back up.
Routine maintenance being done on my car that Son #2 found me last fall for a steal of a deal.

Recycle
Dream Boy not only fixes cars, but bikes.  This is a bike he recently "recycled" from old to new for his best buddy's son.
Here's a split screen of before/after
The top shot was the cross bar before Dream Boy recycled it.

People Watching
People watching a college soccer game!  My little twist on this prompt.

Yes, I did pull a few from my archives - but they really aren't that old.
Have a wonderful week everyone!
We're snuggling in for the big Arctic Chill predicted to come in today & the piles of snow that we may see do to it.
Be sure to head over to Rambling & Photos for more fabulous entries!

Oh, look at that basket full of yarn! I wish I had a basket for mine...they're stuck in numerous canvas bags. Yarn is my guilty pleasure...appears to be yours as well :)

Hope you're feeling better! I had a rough week too, but kind of enjoyed looking through some of my old photos. It's nice to have the time to do that from time to time. Your Basket photo is gorgeous. I love the colors and textures of the yarn.

Nice shots, for some reason I love to take pics of yarn. Lucky for me they don't charge t take pics at yarn shops. I also love playgrounds.

Mechanically minded people like your sons are valuable to know.

Oh dear - I hope that tooth feels better soon. Tooth pain is the WORST! I think you put together a fantastic set. I loved your basket shot and your people watching one too.

I am lovin' that people watching shot and I love the way you processed the playground. You are so fortunate to have "mechanics" in the family...I wish more than once for a mechanic husband, but didn't happen.

oh - do take care! tooth, ear & sinus aches have plagued me at times. That basket of yarn is my absolute favorite... the multi-colored yarn has my favorite colors. What will you be knitting?

Great series and great blog. I am now following you on Google and FB.

I like all of the shots but am drawn to the B&W ones. Although the basket of yarn is really pretty!

Happy hunting next week! :-)

You did great! Love the knitting basket and all the yarn. Would love to learn to knit, but I know I'd probably stink at it. :). So sorry about the dry socket. Not fun.
